This book is a "must read." It will help you understand WHY we are in the middle of a quagmire in Iraq, WHY we are so involved in the Middle-East, and WHY we unequivocally support Israel militarily with billions of US taxpayer dollars EVERY YEAR in the form of direct grants and guaranteed loans.
Your children may not receive a guaranteed loan for college education, but Israel is guaranteed billions of YOUR taxpayer money. Every single year. Your US taxpayer funds much of the Israeli military, and many of the "settlements" which are currently in grievous dispute.
Anyone doubting the merits and accuracy of this seminal work or dismissing it out-of-hand as "anti-Semitic" has already been negatively conditioned and affected by the very forces which Hurley describes in great detail. It is Hurley's right of free speech to publish such a book, and the facts that it contains are indisputable. If you want to dispute them, you must first read the book.

I use the term "pre-war," since the decision to go to war with Iraq was made as soon as GW was sworn into office.

Note that, paradoxically, over 80% of American Jews vote Democrat, that the majority of American Jews opposed the Iraq war (more were against it than in the general population), and that American Jews have been enormously important in securing civil liberties for all Americans. However, the Israeli Likudniks like to pretend that they represent American Jewry, but they do not. And they like to suggest that objecting to their policies is tantamount to anti-Semitism, which is sort of like suggesting that if you don't like Chile's former dictator Pinochet, you are bigoted against Latinos.
We often hear the cry "Get US out of the UN!" Those words should be replaced by "Get US out from under the Likudian control of Israel." Andrew Hurley's work is a must read by all "Americans." US citizens truly need to know who (and what) has seized control of their country. This discussion is NOT about Jews, Judaism, or anti-Semitism, but about radicalized Likudian influences which control OUR society and way of life. George W. Bush represents a Likudian proxy.
